I'm Not Really Sure Which Is Worse

Jennifer Love Hewitt talking about "vejazzling" (her words, not mine), or Pat Robertson blaming the poverty and recent earthquake in Haiti on the Haitian people's pact with the devil ("true story"). ON AN EARTHQUAKE RELIEF FUND SHOW. Then again, it IS the 700 Club... which horrifies me into stupefaction, and baffles me that PBS still airs it.

On the one hand, we have the prejudice of an old, crochety man filled with old timey devil-worshippin' stories trying to reinstate the Salem Witch Trials, on the other we have J Love talking about her naughty bits AGAIN. Yes, she does manage to slip a self-serving boobie reference in the clip too. I wonder if she brings up her boobs this often in non-public conversation: "Hey, wanna go see a movie? My boobs are really tired of staying at home. By the way, I'll try not to blind you with my crystallized cooter when we go out in the sun."

Oh, and just to make me die a little more inside, Andy Martin is at it again, this time accusing Mark Kirk of being a "de facto pedophile" for covering up Mark Foley's alleged diddling with young pages in Congress. Don't believe the Republican party when they say they shut this guy up. They're secretly loving it. Hit the link above to the Huffington Post, it'll give you audio.

The "true story" comment is especially patronizing. Like the devil has any control over the French!
